"CANTEEN" HITS THE BEACH

98 young people from the "Can Teen" national camp hit the sand at Northcliffe on the 16th January. "CanTeen" is an initiative to help young people living with Cancer. As a part of their national tour, the teens hit the sand for a day to learn some surf safety and to just have some fun.

The group were treated to an Aussie BBQ on the beach organised by Sam & Renee from "The Kiosk" who arranged meat to be donated by Monaco Meats, Bread from Tip Top and Ice creams from Peter's.

The day was a huge success, and everyone had a great time. Thank you to all the volunteers who assisted with serving the BBQ and to Sam and Renee for organising the food.
